Weatherization (Wx) Installer Course

Weatherization Installer/Worker course will provide students with the skills and knowledge required to be competent, productive and safe members of a weatherization crew.  This course establishes a basic understanding of building science, how buildings work as a system, and weatherization measures used to improve efficiency.  The course will cover follow the subjects:

  • House as a System
  • Building Science Basics
  • Blower Door Basics
  • Pressure and Thermal Boundary
  • Combustion Safety
  • Worker Safety
  • Equipment and Weatherization Tools
  • Wx Measures
